I had the incredible opportunity to bless someone with painting recently. I really do enjoy each and every painting that I do, but I sometimes have a hard time seeing them with any real value. As the painter, I'm too close to them. I see every flaw, every rogue brushstroke, every smudge, but this person was genuinely excited when I told her that I was giving it to her.
It really made my day when I realized that other people enjoyed what I did, too. I had been so self conscious for so long that it was difficult to start putting my paintings out in public like I have. Now that I have had the opportunity to see the result of my hard word and creativity being appreciated, I'm filled with a renewed excitement for painting and displaying my works.
I enjoy it so much. I always have. It's just nice to know that others enjoy what I do, as well. Thank you all for you invaluable support in so many unique ways!

This is one I painted for my special someone for Valentine's Day. She calls me her "Bear" because I was always so scruffy and hairy... Plus I give good hugs. I call her my "Honeybee" because she's sweet and... well... I'm a Bear!
